Telstars teams 1,2,3 and 4 have been entered into the North
West Kent Cup & Plate competition for teams playing in the
NWK League. In this competition our teams can be drawn against
teams in any of the NWK League Divisions and a handicap system
gives the teams from lower divisions a number of goals start
against higher division teams depending upon the difference in
divisions. Teams who lose in the early rounds automatically go
into the Plate Competition
Telstars 4 played their NWK Cup match against Sabina on Weds.
27 October at Crofton Leisure Centre. The final result was a
loss for Telstars 34 – 50 (including a 15 goal handicap)
despite the best efforts of Team 4 against a team three divisions
above them in the league! Team 4 will now go into the Plate Competition.
