Anita and Michelle would have been proud of the senior Telstars players this weekend. While Anita and Michelle had headed to Leeds for the Premier League game this weekend, along with all the members of the Premier team, the remaining Telstars senior players rallied round and supervised, coached, umpired and generally supported the club teams playing in the NWK  League.                                                                                                                                           

Special thanks must go to Caroline Hills. She was at Cold Harbour from 8:30am to 5:30pm and spent the whole day organising all the teams playing. She took a short break at 12:00 and was joined by many other girls who play for division 2 and in the regional league.

When our three junior teams arrived for their matches at 4:00pm there were umpires, coaches and supporters for each team. The junior members were quickly organised, warmed up and taken to their courts, ready for their matches. Clearing up at the end of the day was dealt with equally efficiently.

All in all a very successful weekend.

Apologies to all the helpers that I did not catch on my camera who did turn up. The games were so exciting I forgot to take the pictures.

I suspect that you were so good that Anita and Michelle may consider taking a holiday!!!!
