Success at East Grinstead Tournament

The new G4S Netball Centre was the venue for two recent

tournaments that Telstars were invited to compete in.

The first was held on May 4th and the whole weekend combined, the official opening of the centre with exhibition matches, coaching sessions by England players and culminating on the Sunday with the junior tournament.

Our U12, U13 and U15 teams attended. The competition was of a high quality and thoroughly enjoyed by all of the teams.

At the same venue on 15th June, the U17, U16A and U16B teams also competed in what was again a very high quality competition. Telstars won the U17 competition and the U16A team won both the U16 tournament as well as being awarded the fair play trophy.

Well done to all who took part, the weekends were enjoyed by parents, players and volunteers alike.

We look forward to returning to East Grinstead next year to defend our titles.
