Leeds Met Carnegie v Aquilatel

After a long journey and over night stay, AquilaTel arrived at the Leeds Met University where we were to face our next opponents in the Premier League fixtures.

Leeds had yet to win a game and were sitting at the bottom of the table, but we were not expecting an easy game as they have not been beaten easily.

We took the court and started the game slowly. We lost our first centre pass, but soon fought back to win the first quarter by 2.

At half time we were up, but still cautious as Leeds were not far behind. Vicky May came on at GA making her Premier League debut and had a blinder of a game!

In usual AquilaTel fashion, we battled and played some fast paced netball defending down the court to come out on top.

It was a great competitive game, but once again the girls came out fighting to win 48-33. Leeds never gave up the battle and fought the whole game making it hard work for us.

This has now pushed us up the table to 5th place. But to stay there we need to win our next game as the table is very close separating places by only a point.
