Tongham Tornadoes v Aquilatel

AquilaTel have had another successful game this weekend, beating Tongham 41-38.

We knew the game would be a tough battle as we had previously met Tongham in the playoffs to get into the Premier league, where we lost by about 10 goals.

But this time we were determined to show them what were made of, and how strong the merge of Aquila and Telstars had become.

Tongham got the shock of their life in the first quarter when AquilaTel fired off like bullets from a gun, proving this was not going to be an easy game. We were going goal for goal right until the 3rd quarter. But the 4th quarter we stole the game by our SUPERB defending down the court by all. Debbie Grant in WD put pressure on the WA forcing her to make errors and claiming some fantastic interceptions. Well-deserved player of the match!
