On the weekend of the 6th July, 28 of our U16 Telstars girls participated in, what was to be, the funniest adventure weekend at Osmington Bay.

Arriving late Friday, and breakfasting at 7:30am Saturday, the girls did not expect to enjoy themselves at all!!! However, as the weekend's activities progressed, so did the hiliarity. Many of the girls surprised themselves and others with what they could achieve despite their phobias. Activities ranged from the exhilerating zip wire to wet and wonderful raft building, team work being the order of the day.

BUT, the highlight of the weekend was the rounders match

This was played on split levels, to add interest, as Anita learnt to her cost.

She slipped and landed flat on her back, much in the style of a dropped plank of wood and after a deathly hush of 5 seconds, the whole area erupted in laughter. Fortunately Anita's brain cells were not noticeably damaged!!

Many thanks to all the girls for the effort they put in to team work and how well they got on. Excellent grounding for future tours.
