We would like to thank Kent Netball, and in particular Dawn Cox, for organising the superb Spotlight event at Canterbury University. The opportunity to watch and support Kent players and their clubs was unmissable.

Spectators enjoyed watching Kent Club, Wealden and Aquilatel (Telstars seniors) playing their Premier League matches, where the standard of play was extremely high. It culminated in the most exciting finish with Aquilatel narrowly missing out on a win against Thoroughbreds, in front of a wildly excited audience.

Popular opinion is now that it would be wonderful to repeat the occasion on a more regular basis. Seats were sold out immediately and it would certainly be a way of regenerating the profile of high quality netball being played by the Kent Clubs.
