Huge congratulations must go to two of Telstars players who have achieved national recognition at the latest England Trials.

Fran Desmond, who last year won a place in the England U17, then contributed to their success in Belfast at the IFNA Championships, had a hard task moving into the older age group, U19's.

However, in true Fran style, she fought against all the odds and gained her place in the squad as their youngest member and then was selected in the named 12 who are representing England in Australia in July this year.

Superb effort and very well deserved to someone who has such a fantastic enthusiasm for the game of netball, whether playing at NWK, County or National.

Well done also to Amanda Davis, who, following in Fran's footsteps has gained a place in the England U17 squad. She too has passed expectations by being selected to tour for England in their trip to Malta in May. Extremely hard working, Amanda has particularly focused during this last year, so it is fitting that she has done so well.

Can't wait to see you both on court for England!!!!
