Despite tough opposition the Brunel Talent Squad, coached by Anita, have won the National Talent League.

In an exciting finale to the season, Brunel Talent defeated Bath Talent in front of a home crowd at the Guildford Spectrum. With a 100% success rate in all of their games, the win confirmed their place at the top of the League.

Six of the successful Brunel squad belong to Telstars.

Sally Tibbitts, Emma Chivers, Sophie Ware and Beth Rowan attained a place in the squad for the first time this season and all of them made their NTL debuts on court. Sally and Emma, both showed impressive skills in defence on several occasions. Sophie and Beth were regular members of the team bench and can look forward to next season to cement their position in the Talent league.

Kim Piper, a veteran of the previous season, continued her good form to dominate the midcourt and be a key player of the team.

Channel Charlery, also a veteran from the previous season, is returning from injury.
