The start of the winter netball season saw the return of our three newlyweds to the Aquilatel team. Congratulations go to Laura May (nee Thompson), Steph Gardiner (nee Woodhouse) and Verity Cameron (nee Young) on their respective weddings this summer.

Further congratulations to the Aquilatel team on their win against Raiders in Division 1 today. It was a thrilling match to watch and well done to all of the team members.

The younger Telstars girls played well against Hillcrest in their first match in Division 2 of the Regional League. The greater experience of the Hillcrest team showed in the final quarters of the match where they pulled away, but a good learning experience for Telstars nevertheless and they continued battling until the final whistle.
